Harry Graul began Graulís Market in Baltimore in 1920. We have grown from a single location back then to six locations in Maryland. Each of the Graulís Markets are owned separately by descendants of Harry Graul. The Ruxton and Mays Chapel locations are owned and operated by Dennis Graul & Kate Poffenberger. Graulís has developed a great reputation for our fresh foods and customer service. We offer many delicious Signature Products that cannot be found anywhere else.
Graulís entered into the school lunch business in 1992 serving a single school. We now serve nine independent schools in the area with wholesome lunches during the school year.
Graulís focuses on nutrition and food safety. We understand that children need a wholesome midday meal to be ready to learn in the second half of the day. We offer a wide variety of entrťe choices and supplement that with wholesome snacks, homemade desserts and a drink. Graulís offers great tasting food, prepared fresh each morning using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients.
Students are part of an ďat risk populationĒ. We take the safety of the food that we deliver to them very seriously. We follow best practices under the ServSafe certification program to ensure food arrives safely.
Graulís is a family owned and operated business. We live in the Baltimore area, where our children attend school. As parents concerned about our childrenís nutrition, we are proactively pursuing the means to provide a healthy lunch, every day, to our children. Through our web based system parents can now order a nutritional lunch for their children that is delivered daily to their participating schools.
